An optional Sosial Cloud account (Singapore-hosted) keeps just your identity, team name and preferences so they survive reinstalls; a per-channel Cloud switch (off by default) holds an encrypted token copy for publishing while the app is closed. Disconnect a channel and its credentials are gone everywhere.
