How to turn one blog post into 30 social posts
A systematic repurposing method that produces a month of content from a single article.
By the Sosial team
Repurposing fails when it means "copy a paragraph and post it". It works when you extract the individual units of value an article already contains and give each one a shape.
Mine the article for units
- Every heading is a standalone tip post.
- Every number is a stat post.
- Every list is a carousel or a thread.
- Every mistake you mention is a "stop doing this" post.
- Every example is a mini case study.
A 1,500-word article with six headings, four numbers and two examples yields roughly twenty usable units. Add a few quotes pulled from the piece and you are at thirty.
Give each unit the right format
Stats become single-image posts. Lists become carousels. Arguments become threads. Quotes become text posts. The format should follow the shape of the idea, not your schedule.
Spread it, do not dump it
Publish the thirty units over six to eight weeks rather than one week. Then the article keeps earning long after launch, and your feed never reads as a single-topic broadcast.
