Using AI to draft threads (without the tell-tale structure)

Threads are where AI drafts get exposed fastest. How to keep the logic and lose the sameness.

By the Sosial team

A thread makes structure visible. Fifteen posts with identical rhythm and each one starting with a transition word reads as generated within two scrolls.

Ask for the argument, not the thread

Prompt for the logic — "give me the five steps in order, one line each" — then write the posts yourself from the outline. You keep the thinking and supply the voice.

Break the rhythm on purpose

  • Vary post length between two words and two sentences.
  • Do not open every post with a transition.
  • Let one post be just a number or a one-line claim.
  • Keep the strongest sentence for the second post, not the first.

Demand the count you asked for

Drafting tools routinely collapse a seven-post thread into five. Sosial asks for the exact post count and warns you if a thread comes back shorter than requested, so you notice the collapse before scheduling rather than after publishing.
